FAQ

Q: Is the course/event kid friendly?

A: Yes! We encourage you to bring your family to experience this one of a kind run! Because the farm is quite expansive with rolling hills and wooded trails, we don’t recommend bringing strollers.

Q: What about dogs? Mine love running trails!

A: While we are all huge animal lovers, we want to keep your dog and our horses safe so make sure to put Animal Planet on the T.V., give your doggo a boop for us, and leave the fur-kids at home.

Q: Will there be food/drinks?

A: We’ll have orange slices and bananas at the finish line and a food truck on site to help you refuel while you watch our Equitainment demonstrations do their thing!

Q: Will there be prizes?

A: Heck yes! The top three finishers in each age group will receive a medal at the awards ceremony following the race.

Q: Can we bring the horses treats?

A: All of our horses are on specialized diets and can get very sick, very fast if given the wrong food. Some of our horses will choke if given even the softest treat and others are insulin resistant and can quickly colic with even a few blades of grass. Please do not feed the horses, we promise they eat very well!

If you would like to donate apples, carrots, or special horse treats, please deliver them to a staff member on the day of the event and we’d be happy to give them to the appropriate horses!
